Based on the experience of researchers from the BEV1 group, its objective is to reduce the use of phytosanitary chemical products which constitute one of the main polluting agents for groundwater in agricultural areas. To do so the phytotoxic effect of different natural compounds is explored in order to use them as fungicides and herbicides with a lower environmental impact. Associated to this sub-line, the study of these biological interactions in the agroecosystems is suggested, including here the allelopathies as phytotoxic agents.
