The main cluster’s mission is to create a multidisciplinary and integrated research, teaching and technology and knowledge transfer units network to contribute to the environmental sustainability and competitiveness in the agrifood field, in order to guarantee water and healthy food.


To promote a Centre to be the driving force of the Campus da Auga and the international reference tool for the agrifood sector innovation and to protect its natural surroundings, being water the main focus, implying the agents linked to the activity and turning them into strategic allies of the research and technology transfer activity.
